De acuerdo con la nueva Ley de Arrendamientos Urbanos de 1994, aplicable a este supuesto por la fecha que me cita, llegado el día del vencimiento del contrato, éste se podrá prorrogar por plazos anuales hasta que el arrendamiento alcance una duración mínima de 5 años. Por lo tanto, su contrato se puede prorrogar un año más, o dos, según su voluntad. Si Ud. desea que se prorrogue únicamente un año más, deberá manifestárselo al arrendador con 30 días de antelación, como mínimo, a la fecha de la prórroga, es decir antes del día 1 de junio de 1.999.
